The Akwa Ibom Cross River State Association Netherlands (AKCROSS UNION NL), welcomes you to her website. 

AKCROSS UNION NL is an association formed in The Netherlands by the indigenous people of Akwa Ibom and Cross River States to welcome and foster unity among all its sons and daughters living in The Netherlands. As such, the association facilitates the social interaction as well as welfare aspects between members who comprise indigenes from the two states in the Netherlands. The association also undertakes development related activities/projects in both Akwa Ibom and Cross River States which are sponsored by her members and also organizations in The Netherlands. In this regard, the governments of the two states are strategic partners of the association in the realization of this objective. Some of these projects address challenges with regards to poverty alleviation and the support of the needy and the less privileged back home. Furthermore, AKCROSS UNION  NL also works closely with other community organizations in the Netherlands towards further integration in the Dutch community. 

AKCROSS UNION NL is currently managed by a 3-man board led by Mr. John Akpanson (President). Other officials include Mrs. Victoria Leijstra (General Secretary) and Ms. Eno Okon (Treasurer).

AKCROSS UNION NL welcomes new members with roots in either of the two states of the Nigerian federation and who reside in the Netherlands, to register with the organization. Let us, with one mind and heart and with understanding, come together to make AKCROSS UNION NL a great organization.
